OKAY. i'm going to post the performance information for convenience sake!

RE- (I,II,III) by Shen Wei Dance Arts

this is choreographer/dancer Shen Wei’s impassioned response to his ancestral roots as he returns home and navigates the complexities of some of the world’s most mysterious, magnificent cultures, in Tibet, Angkor Wat and China’s Silk Road.

Intensely personal yet vastly universal, Re- (I, II, III) invokes the desire to “revisit”, “reconsider”, “renew” and “repair”. Here, he makes a spiritual offering and hopeful plea for reconciliation and understanding, inspired by his deeply felt experiences and encounters – from oxygen deficiency on the Tibetan steppes to the intricate temple friezes in Angkor Wat and the convergence of old and new in China during his time as chief choreographer at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.

Comprising three parts and performed by a stellar ensemble, the work is a stirring visual and aural tapestry, filled with electrifying movement, surrealistic tableaus and evocative soundscapes. The stories are told through his interdisciplinary style, combining dance, theatre, visual arts, ‘found’ materials, philosophy, architecture and drawing from the rich, diverse traditions of each region. Re- (I, II, III) promises to be an unforgettable re-discovery and re-encountering of these wondrous cultural spheres.

J2s i know our results suck, but FRET NOT. there's still time. WE CAN DO IT. AFTER A's we can dance like nobody's business (i want nobody nobody but you! -.-) . we shall dominate the dance studio, dance on the new flooring. MUAHAHAHHAHHA
